Girls Circle & Boys Council Program
Strengths-Based Gender Responsive Programs for Girls and Boys that Empower and Unite.
Girls Circle and Boys Council is a structured support group for adolescent boys/girls designed to foster self-esteem, and help boys/girls maintain authentic connections. It is a safe place in which adolescent boys/girls can share their feelings verbally and creatively as they gain a deeper understanding of themselves and those around them. This program does not provide counseling but gives students a place to give and receive support from their peers.
Programas Basados en Fortalezas con Enfoque de Género para Niñas y Niños que Empoderan y Unen
Girls Circle y Boys Council son grupos de apoyo estructurados para adolescentes diseñados para fomentar la autoestima y ayudar a los niños y niñas a mantener conexiones auténticas. Estos grupos ofrecen un espacio seguro donde los adolescentes pueden compartir sus sentimientos de manera verbal y creativa, al mismo tiempo que profundizan su comprensión de sí mismos y de quienes los rodean. Este programa no brinda consejería, sino que ofrece a los estudiantes un lugar donde dar y recibir apoyo de sus compañeros.
