ARMED FORCES DAY - SATURDAY, MAY 19TH

Our Servicemen and women are serving throughout the world as guardians of peace–many of them away from their homes, their friends and their families. They are visible evidence of our determination to meet any threat to the peace with measured strength and high resolve. They are also evidence of a harsh but inescapable truth–that the survival of freedom requires great cost and commitment, and great personal sacrifice.
~ President John F. Kennedy, 1963

Talent Show

Private First Class Rueben "Boy" Lopez, a graduate of Williams High School, served in the US Army and courageously gave his life on August 11, 2011 fighting for peace in Afghanistan. Boy's family and friends have decided to honor him by spreading good deeds on his day of birth every year, May 9th.
In Boy's last letter to his family, he wrote, "Be free, live for good and not bad."
We are choosing to live for good in his honor.
There is no good deed too small!

Dear Williams USD Parents;

Colusa County Superintendent Mike West, at the April 19 School Board meeting presented on providing internet access to all students in the county. The intent is to provide better quality, safe internet access to all students at a minimal cost to all school families.  In order to support their work for Williams, our families are asked to complete a very short and quick survey to identify our community’s need.  Parents are needing to complete the survey before May 11, 2018.  Students from grades 4-12 will also be asked to participate. The survey link is posted on our website for you to complete and we will text it as well. Thank you for your help in advance.

Please click on the link below to complete the survey.  Thank you for your support:

Parent Internet Survey

Estimado padres del distrito de Williams;
